The 2025-2026 school year was the first year District 56 combined its inclement weather days and Thanksgiving's three-day break to have a week off for the Thanksgiving holiday. We have heard from numerous parents, students, and staff members that they enjoyed this extended time, so we wanted to survey our community as we plan for the future and possibly consider modifying the 2026-2027 school calendar, which currently only includes a three-day holiday. Any modifications we make would have to be approved by District 56's School Board. Please respond by Monday, January 12th.

Pick Up:
Dispay Car Tags at Dismissal!
Car tags make the pick up process more efficient!
Due to the amount of traffic between 1:45-2:30 and getting the students ready for dismissal in the hallway, we will not be able to have early dismissals after 1:45 so please plan accordingly. If you need to pick up your child before 1:45 please make sure you send a handwritten note to the teacher that morning.
